Only the Holy Spirit is the...

FIRMS

Let us get one thing straight, only the Holy Spirit is the Writer of the Bible. The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of the Father and the Spirit of Christ because Christ is the manifested Heavenly Father, fully God and fully man. It is the Holy Spirit who, when the Father spoke the Words that are Christ Jesus in the flesh, created all things as the Father said. It is the Holy Spirit who knows the beginning from the end.

It is through the Holy Spirit that we have Genesis to Revelation, and because only He knows every single detail pertaining to the beginning and the end, it is only He that could have known the words that are the beginning and ending of all things. Indeed, the Bible is the Word of God because it is the Holy Spirit (of the Father) who is the One and true Author of it.

When God said, “Let us make man in our image…” [Genesis 1:26], this image was not just eyes to see and ears to hear, as God sees and hears (everything), but it was predominantly about a human becoming an eternal soul and spirit, as God is an eternal Spirit. Our human spirits are birthed by God’s Spirit, just as we have breath because God breathed through human nostrils.

“and the dust returns to the earth as it was, and the spirit returns to God who gave it.” Ecclesiastes‬ ‭12‬:‭7‬ ‭ESV‬‬

How the Bible Was Written By God the Holy Spirit

Because God is Spirit, and mankind is spirit, we can be one with God. God’s Spirit can possess (take hold of) the human spirit and that is how God used mankind’s body to write His Holy Word. In truth, because a human is a spirit, demons, which are evil spirits, can also possess the human being, and this is what is widely known. Perhaps this is because only a few, for the road is narrow that leads to God, can have the Holy Spirit within them. He chooses who He wants; He chooses who He wants to reveal Himself to and who will thus believe in Him and His Word, for God is His Word.

So yes, God’s Holy Spirit possessed (possessed is not a bad word, it’s a bad thing if done by evil spirits) the disciples of Christ, and that is how they knew every detail of the events about Christ’s life and the end of everything. Indeed, they were with Jesus. Yet they knew details that couldn’t have been humanly possible for them to know because they were not everywhere at the same time.

For example, one disciple would write about how Jesus took three disciples with Him and prayed on the mountain, and would say verbatim what was said and what had transpired. Or, a disciple would write about the word-for-word conversation Jesus was having with a woman at the well, and meanwhile, Jesus was alone with that woman. One may be stubborn and think, maybe Jesus told them. Even so, I don’t suppose it’s logical to think fishermen who weren’t even scholars (as some disciples were) would somehow have such a memory as to consistently have never forgotten a detail or a word-for-word conversation (for three years at that), it’s just a ludicrous concept to try and grasp.

Furthermore, as these men were walking with Jesus, they were fully flawed and immature spiritually, as Peter would deny Jesus three times, and the rest of them would have fled as Jesus was alone when He was being sentenced to crucifixion undeservedly, and as also seen by when He would have to repeat Himself and explain to them what He meant with what He was saying. One cannot be busy memorizing something that they are currently trying to understand.

It is only when they received the Holy Spirit that the disciples were transformed as they were one spirit with the Lord, as the Spirit teaches us through them.

“But he who is joined to the Lord becomes one spirit with him.”
‭‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭6‬:‭17‬ ‭ESV‬‬

Only through the Spirit were they bold and courageous. Only through the Spirit did they know the Word of God, for they walked and talked with God. Only through being one with the Spirit did they have divine knowledge, wisdom, and understanding.

Before Paul became an apostle of Christ Jesus, he was a flawed human who was pleased by killing believers of Jesus Christ. Paul encountered and saw the Lord, and only after that encounter was he transformed. Only after receiving the Holy Spirit was he the apostle Paul. Never could he have written a single word of God before having the Holy Spirit and so it cannot be that it is him who said the word of God after receiving the Holy Spirit.

So, when preachers, teachers, and pastors say, “Paul said”, and they are referring to Scripture, it is not right for them to say that. It may even be blasphemous. And even when Paul would say, “Not the Lord, but I Paul say…”, Paul was one spirit with the Lord, and so still, Paul’s opinions were righteous, and inspired and informed by the Spirit of God, and thus they were the Word of God still. It is Paul and other apostles and prophets, and the chosen, who wrote, but it is only the Holy Spirit who spoke what was written. And that is how Scripture is the Word of God, not the word of man.

The Bible and the Word of God are complete from Genesis to Revelation. You and I are living in the Bible, either for the best or for the worse. And because the Bible was complete and recorded as God wrote and finished His Book, as I too am one spirit with the Lord, it is never that my words now become the word of God too because the Word of God was written and completed. Now, for those who are one spirit with the Lord in this day and age, we are living in the Bible and living out the prophecies and promises of God. We are living out being one spirit with the Lord, and we are living out the ending of God’s holy and righteous Word.
